Rebecca Harrison was born and raised in Oregon. Her first book, Child Abuse: A Guide for Professionals was co-authored with Dr. Jean Edwards, a professor at Portland State University; Ednick Publications published it in 1983. Harrison released her first maritime book, Deep Dark and Dangerous: On the Bottom with the Northwest Salvage Divers, in 2006, by Booksurge, LLC. Some of her most recent books were co-authored with Daniel Cowan, these include Canby, from the Images of America series, published in 2016, and Portland's Maritime History, published in January 2014; both are by Arcadia Publishing. Another fascinating maritime book Harrison released was, Aboard the Portland: A History of the Northwest Steamers, published by CreateSpace. CreateSpace published Harrison’s most recent book, Travels with Kimchi, published in 2021. |
